His existence as someone looking down from beyond is a bit ridiculous as well. If you need to believe in some higher power, then believe in yourself. Each and every person in this world IS god. What else would be the purpose of missionaries? I challenge you to find a religion that does not either encourage its members to spread it, or condemn those who oppose it. @downtown
